The Lakeview Tenants Association of East Harlem
Community + Unity = Power
About
The Lakeview Tenants Association (LVTA) is dedicated to empowering and supporting people of all ages through a wide range of social, educational, and cultural programs.
We foster community growth; we strengthen community connections and celebrate diversity. Our work also enhances the visibility and vitality of Lakeview and neighboring developments.
What is Community?
Community is a fundamental part of human society, where people support one another, share opportunities, and create a sense of belonging. It is the heartbeat of connection—where every individual comes together around common purpose, uplift one another through challenges and successes and builds a place where everyone belongs. Community is not just a place; it is the people. Community lives in each of us—together, we are stronger.
I am the community. You are the community. We are the community.
